Designed for use on the road, the iSeries injection-moulded, utility cases are manufactured in 'ultra high-strength', polypropylene, copolymer resin, to reduce impact damage. The cases are water-proof and dust-proof to IP67.
Some models offer the option to replace the patented 'trigger release' latches with TSA locking latch kits for easier airport security inspection.
Along with the options including dividers listed below, i-Series cases are also available with cubed or layered foam see SKB CASES - iSeries Utility Cases - with Foam, or empty and without insert see SKB CASES - iSeries Utility Cases - Empty. Some variants include a pull-handle and wheels. Models with "DT" in the title denote SKB's affiliation with Think Tank Photo to provide Nylex-wrapped closed cell foam lining and nylon dividers. Hook-and-loop tabs retain the position of dividers.
The optional SKB 3I-PMCK panel-mounting kit is a pack of eight panel-mounts with pressed brass inserts that can be secured to any of the 3i Series cases. O-ring seals, mounting screws, a drill guide and drill bit are included in this kit.
