SatRack is a unique, portable, lightweight 19-inch rack with anti-vibration mounts. It has been developed specially for satellite uplinks where equipment needs to be taken as checked luggage on commercial airlines.
Designed for applications where 19-inch rack-mounting equipment needs to be transported and deployed without damage, the racks are 'ultra-light'. The 4U, 610mm frame-depth version weighs 8kg. The cases allow secure transportation of mobile electronics systems as checked-in baggage whilst providing high levels of protection against shock and vibration.
SatRack (Registered Design) consists of an inner, aluminium, 19-inch rack frame, suspended by eight elastomeric anti-vibration mounts within a honeycomb, polypropylene, outer case. This, in turn, is enclosed in a weatherproof Cordura bag, with zipped lids front and back, ventilation flaps and carrying handle. It is not possible to retrofit retractable handles or wheels, however other models are available. Please contact our Sales team for more information.
The cases are available in 3U, 4U and 5U versions with 480mm (standard) or 610mm (deep) internal rack-frame depths.
