General purpose loudspeaker cables similar in construction to 2-core (GPS 2-core) and 4-core (GPS 4-core) mains cables, but manufactured specifically for use as loudspeaker feeds. Cores are twisted, coloured red and black (GPS 2-core) or red, black, violet and grey (GPS 4-core), and the cable is marked "Loudspeaker cable" to clearly distinguish it from mains cables for safety reasons.
