This handy adapters allows anything with a 3/8” thread (e.g. most European microphone clips and accessories) to be fitted on an ISO-standard camera accessory shoe.
The adapter locks in place with a knurled ring that clamps the solid foot against the under-edge of the camera shoe, holding the foot away from any electrical contacts the camera may provide. A second nut is provided to lock the microphone clip at the desired angle.
The adapter is machined from stainless steel, so is suitable for use even with heavy microphones and arrays, though care should be taken not to exceed the camera maker’s recommendations with regard to loading.
