Q-MAX SHEET METAL PUNCHES
Allows the punching of holes in sheet materials, with only minimal tools. A small pilot hole is drilled allowing a connecting bolt to join the punch on one side and the die on the other side of the sheet material. Pressure is then applied by tightening the bolt using a hex key and the hole is punched out. Neither the punch or the die rotates during the process.
Stocked in five sizes, supplied complete with hex head bolt, die, receptacle, washer and nut.
Application note: For use with mild and stainless steel up to 16 SWG (1.62mm); copper, brass and aluminium up to 2mm; other sheet materials and ductile plastics.
Ordering note: Order hex keys separately as required. Pilot hole drills not included.
