Bose SoundComm B40 series noise-cancelling communication headsets and microphones have been designed to offer clarity and comfort to engineers in live event, broadcast, front of house applications, or environments where weather resistance is advantageous.
Bose B40 are available in monaural with 4-pin female XLR, or binaural with 5-pin male XLR connection options. Monaural varieties are also available as dual or single sided headsets. Options without microphone are also available.
Earcup cushions provide an acoustic seal to increase attenuation of low-frequency noise providing clear audio for enhanced communications. The noise-cancelling earphones are coupled with a 150ohm noise-cancelling dynamic microphone on a flexible boom arm. The microphone can be switched from left to right side by way of screw fixing.

Optional Accessories/Spares
Down Cable Assembly is available in two formats; with 4-pin female XLR connector or 5-pin male XLR connector. Both include the 150ohm dynamic and noise cancelling microphone.
Bracket kit connects the SoundComm battery module to compatible belt-mounted intercoms. Hook and loop material is located on both bracket pieces.
Carry Case is designed to fit the B40 headset, down cable, control module, and spare batteries.
Clothing Clip retains the headset cable.
Terminal Cover is a replacement cap to ‘ensure proper operation’ and avoid dust ingress when switching the headset cable from one side to the other.
Ear Cushion Kit is a replacement part compatible with SoundComm B30 and B40 headsets.
Side Pad Kit is a replacement part compatible with single sided SoundComm B30 and B40 headsets.
