This is a development of the standard diecast loudspeakers, and is designed to fill the need for an economical, robust, powered loudspeaker. Uses include talkback, line listening, cue programme, office monitoring and even small PA applications. Mains connection is IEC 60320 C14 type (cable not supplied), audio input is transformer balanced on XLR 3 pin female, mating connectors not supplied. Units are constructed in a virtually airtight diecast aluminium housing, to give enhanced LF performance. Front panel mains on/off and volume controls.
Two simple wall fixings are available: a 'U' bracket 76-428 permits flush wall fixing with restricted horizontal or vertical tilt adjustment, and a universal angle bracket 18-092 with horizontal adjustment also available (speaker can be mounted horizontally or vertically). Mic stand adapter enables units to mount on 3/8″ or 5/8″ thread microphone stands. Loudspeaker has M6 tapped insert in the top and base.
Units are also available in single or dual 19″ rackmount versions (3U), to provide convenient rackmount ‘check-listen’ facilities.
