Pop Shields are available from several manufacturers. In general, they all have a similar style of manufacture: a circular former with a single or double skin of fabric which reduces “popping” effects. All types have washable fabric, and should be cleaned regularly for hygiene reasons. Canford Windshield Cleaning Fluid, stock code 55-184, is recommended for this purpose.

Mounted on 330mm gooseneck, attaches to all mic stands or booms (up to 30mm diameter) by means of adjustable screw clamp. Filter diameter of 130mm.
Like 23956 however has a larger filter diameter of 200mm.
