MICROPHONES

MXA920 - Ceiling array

Shure MXA920 builds on the success of the MXA910 series ceiling array microphones and includes both round and square format microphones. The main difference between MXA920 and MXA910 is where MXA910 utilised 'Steerable CoverageTM' technology to allow up to eight pickup lobes, MXA920 provides 'Automatic CoverageTM' technology which enables the user to pickup sounds from only within a defined area, and without the need to aim separate lobes. Essentially if you turn off the Automatic CoverageTM feature on the MXA920-S, you have an MXA910 - therefore interchangeable. MXA920 includes all other features of the MXA910 microphone array.

MXA920 is factory pre-set with a 9 x 9m coverage and therefore provides an out-of-the-box solution.

Available in both round or square design, in black, aluminium, or white finish; MXA920 has a range of mounting hardware for in-ceiling, on-ceiling, pole, or wire rope mounting options.

Signal to noise ratio: 75.76 dB A-weighted, reference 94dBSPL at 1kHz. Latency: 15.9ms, direct outputs; 26.6ms, automix output. Dynamic range: 77.5dB. Frequency response: 125 - 20,000Hz. Dimensions (HxW): 54.69 x 593.8mm, MXA920-S; 61.3 x 635.4mm, MXA920-R. Weight: 5.4kg, MXA920-S; 5.8kg, MXA920-R.

MXA710 - Linear array, ceiling/wall/desktop

Shure MXA710 is a series of linear array microphones that includes 60cm (2ft) and 120cm (4ft) hardware and is available in white, black, or silver (aluminium) finishes and can be mounted to ceiling, wall, table top or stand.

Like the MXA310, MXA710 is a steerable microphone that allows the engineer to setup and fine-tune for participants whether static or moving. It has built in signal processing including automatic mixing, acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, automatic gain control, compression, delay, and 4-band graphic equaliser. Lobe widths can be set to 30-degrees, narrow; 40-degrees, medium; 70-degrees, wide. Settings can be managed remotely via Shure’s Designer software.

Accessories include A710-FM flush mount (60/120cm) for horizontal or vertical fixing; A710-MSA microphone stand adapter, A710-TB suspension kit for mounting from ceiling, and A710-DS desk stand mount for table top application. A710-HOUSING is available for those wanting aesthetically pleasing designs whereby a ‘dummy’ A710-HOUSING can be used without any electrical or other connections.

Power consumption: 10W maximum, PoE. Maximum SPL: 101.4dB, 60cm; 101.9dB, 120cm. Frequency response: 100Hz – 20kHz. Dimensions (HxWxD): 22.09 x 60 x 636mm, 60cm; 22.09 x 60 x 1247.76mm, 120mm. Weight: 0.91kg, 60cm; 1.67kg, 120cm. Note: all specifications are measured with ‘narrow’ lobe unless otherwise mentioned.

MXA310 - Table array

Available in white, black, or aluminium finishes to match the conference room décor, this desktop microphone gives steerable coverage of 360-degrees using up to four independent channels/lobes with auto-mixing functionality. A configurable LED ring enables the user to discern which channels are active or in muted state. Connected to network via single cable Dante or AES67 transferring power, control and audio. Pickup patterns include omnidirectional for use when a participant is likely to be moving around the room; bi-directional for use when two participants are facing each other; toroid for 360-degree pickup with rejection from vertical noise pickup; cardioid, super-cardioid, and hyper-cardioid. Each of the four channels can be set up independently.

Can be mounted directly to the table, or with the optional A310-FM flush mount adaptor, both giving discreet underside cable entry.

Power consumption: 4W maximum, PoE. Dimensions (HxWxD): 36 x 134 x 134mm. Weight: 362g
