MUXLAB AUDIO AMPLIFIERS

Muxlab audio amplifiers have been designed for use in meeting rooms, classrooms, and hospitality applications. Manufactured from metal, these amplifiers may offer the user a convenient option for installation or shelf mounted systems.

500219 - 30W, Low impedance, audio balun

500219 is designed to allow a single audio source from a Muxlab transmitter such as 500028, 500028-WP-UK, 500028-F, or 500210, and feed 30W per channel from its class D amplifier. This enables the user to provide power to speakers over a distance of up to 1km.

A display shows input level for both left and right channels, and volume level in graphical format, whilst a push and turn controller on the front facing panel allows for power on off and volume.

Audio input is via RJ45 connection for Cat5e/6 cable, and audio outputs are via terminal posts.

Dimensions: 90 x 130 x 50 (WxDxH) mm. Weight: 2kg

500755-70V - Low impedance to 70V line

Designed to be paired with 500755-AMP-RX or 500217 to offer 70V loudspeaker support. 500755-70V can be mounted near the connected amplifier to convert the amplifier’s 4ohm output into a mono 70V line, and therefore allowing longer distances for speaker runs. This unit offers 100W mono when used in conjunction with 500755-AMP or 500217 in bridged mono mode.

Dimensions: 110 x 140 x 50 (WxDxH) mm. Weight: 1.4kg

500755-AMP-RX. 500755-AMP-TX - 2x 50W over IP

500755 transmitter and receiver allow the transmission and reception of 2-channel audio signals over IP up to a distance of 100m, and with 2x 50W amplification at the receiver end. With point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations available the transmitters support PoE (PD) if used with a PoE (PSE) Ethernet switch. Bidirectional RS232 control is supports, as is directional infrared control.

500755-AMP-TX can be controlled locally via push and turn controller, or via 500811 Pro Digital Network Controller web interface.

Dimensions: 110 x 121 x 50 (WxDxH) mm, 500755-AMP-TX; 110 x 201 x 50 (WxDxH) mm, 500755-AMP-RX. Weight: 0.55kg, 500755-AMP-TX; 0.89kg, 500755-AMP-RX.

500553 - 240W, Dante input

A 2-channel, 240W amplifier that has a Dante slot card to accept a digital signal from the Dante network. Once the Dante signal has been received, the amplifier converts it to an analogue audio signal and output to local loudspeakers. The 1/2-rack (1U) design allows for quick installation and provides flexibility to mix and match with other rack products of same width to save valuable equipment rack space.

The class D amplifier has features including 12V trigger control, audio-sensing, volume gain adjustment, short circuit protection and overheating protection. 500553 can produce 2x 120W into either 8 or 4ohms in stereo mode, or 240W into 70/100V line in bridged mode.

Dimensions: 214 x 249.8 x 44 (WxDxH)mm. Weight: 1.94kg

500216 - 40W, Low impedance

Discontinued

This is a compact, Class-D power amplifier, capable of delivering 1x 40W into 8 ohms in bridged mode or 2x 20W into 4 ohms. The 500216 can be used stand-alone in smaller PA and background music systems, or cascaded to form larger commercial audio systems.

It accepts one balanced microphone input via a 3-pole screw-terminal connector with switched 48V phantom power available, one line-level input via L/R RCA (phono) sockets and a 'Slave' input via 3.5mm stereo jack socket. A slide-switch is used to activate 48V phantom powering and select microphone or line level inputs.

Loudspeaker output is via screw terminals. A 'Cascade' output is available via 3.5mm stereo socket for onward connection to additional 'Slave' units or third party electronics. Local control of the output level, mute and EQ settings is via push buttons. Remote control is provided via optional IR remote kit or RS232.

Dimensions: 123 x 87 x 38 (WxHxD) mm. Weight: 0.45Kg.

Note: The Muxlab 500216 amplifier does not provide any mixing capability.

500217 - 100W, Low impedance

This Class D amplifier is the 'bigger brother' of the MuxLab 500216, offering 1x 100W into 4 ohms in bridged mode, or 2x 50W into 8 ohms. When paired with the 500755-70V, the system is capable of distributing power to 70V line audio systems over longer distances.

Volume, mute, bass and treble can be adjusted via two switches and a single rotary control on the front panel - all of which can also be controlled remotely via RS232, IR or an IP based web server interface via RJ45 connection. The rear of the unit has all I/O connectivity with audio inputs offered via dual RCA (phono) sockets, 3.5mm jack socket, and optical TosLink connectors. Audio output is via a 4-pin terminal block with a single 3.5mm jack socket for cascade output.

Dimensions: 148 x 44 x 165 (WxHxD) mm. Weight: 0.72Kg.
