C1000 S

The updated version of AKG's C1000 S - finished in matt 'grayish-blue'; is a multipurpose small-diaphragm condenser microphone that continues to be a popular choice when versatility is required. The microphone is suitable for recording and live-sound applications as well as for ENG/EFP and video productions. The gold sputtered capsule housing makes the microphone 'extremely rugged' and effective against humidity. C1000 S can be powered by two standard AA batteries for up to 120 hours when phantom power is not accessible. A bass-cut switch, set at 80Hz, and a switchable -10 dB pad afford the user more versatility whilst the polar pattern can be switched from cardioid to hyper-cardioid.
