Audio-Technica analogue and digital smart mixers accept multiple microphone and/or line input sources and output an automatically controlled mix to various audio equipment in environments such as conference rooms, lecture theatres, teleconferencing, education classrooms, and board rooms.
This 6-channel stereo mixer automatically mixes up to six microphone/line inputs and one unbalanced stereo input by using either gating or gain sharing.
All audio connections on the rear panel are via 'Euroblock' (Phoenix style) detachable terminal blocks. There are four balanced microphone, along with two balanced and switchable microphone/line inputs and single unbalanced stereo input. There are three outputs: one output is a stereo unbalanced output, the two others are balanced mono outputs. There are also an RJ45 network port and two 'Audio-Technica Link' ports via two further RJ45 connectors to connect six ATDM-0604A mixers via Cat5e cable for simultaneous use within an expanded setup. A 24-bit, USB 2.0 type B, connector conveys a single stereo channel of audio in and a single channel of stereo output to and from a computer. The AC power inlet takes an IEC type C7 connector.
The front panel has all user controls, including power on/off switch, mode button, and rotary encoder for adjusting settings. There is an input selection button, LED indicator and signal/peak LED for each channel. The output section has a selection button and output signal/peak LED indicator.
When connected to compatible device, the ATDM-0604A can be set up and controlled remotely over IP. Remote control includes gain sharing settings, 4-band parametric EQ, mix levels, LF shelf, +48V phantom power, and routing for inputs. A GPO terminal also allows the remote control of ES954 hanging microphone LEDs when connected. A 12-band parametric equaliser, dynamic control including compression and limiter, -10dBV drop adjustment and 8-band feedback suppression can be applied remotely to the output stage. Echo and noise cancellation can also be operated remotely to achieve the cleanest possible signal for all open microphones.

A 'flexible and easy-to-use' SmartMixer for applications such as hospitality, corporate, courtroom, or such environments where mix-minus and multi-zone operation is applicable. ATDM-1012 is housed in a 1U,19-inch rackmount or desktop design, and has 14 inputs including 10x mic/line inputs, 2x stereo line-level inputs, and USB in/out connectivity. AEC (acoustic echo cancellation) and noise cancelling can be assigned to up to ten of the microphone inputs, as can +48V phantom power.
The rear facing panel houses all I/O connectivity including ten balanced mic/line inputs via 3-pin Euroblock connections, two unbalanced stereo audio inputs via 3-pin Euroblock connections, and USB type-B connection for 24-bit stereo audio input and output. Eight balanced outputs are provided by way of 3-pin Euroblock connectors, and two unbalanced stereo audio outputs are by way of 3-pin Euroblock connectors. Network connectivity is available via a single RJ45 connection, and four additional RJ45 connections allow for linking/chaining of up to eight ATDM SmartMixers. 100-240V AC input is via IEC mains connection.
The front facing panel houses the on/off power switch, mode selections button to switch between input and output modes; twelve channel selection buttons with associated input LEDs that signify the channel status. A further bank of red LEDs are steady or flashing depending on input or sub-input mode. A yellow on black display allows for menu navigation and setup - aided by a 'back' button and push/turn dial. LEDs surrounding the dial signify the level or gain of the channel selected.
Maximum input level: -20dBu, microphone; +24dBu, line; +20dBV, stereo. Dynamic range: 110dB or higher, A-weighted. Signal to noise ratio: 90dB or higher, A-weighted. Maximum gain: 64dB. Maximum output level: +24dBu/+20dBV/+10dBV, outputs 1-8; +20dBV/+10dBV/-13dBV, stereo output. A/D D/A resolution: 24-bit. A/D D/A dynamic range: 115dB. Power supply: 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz. Power consumption: 65W. Operating temperature: 0-40degrees Celsius. Dimensions (WxDxH): 482.6 x 324.3 x 44mm. Weight: 3.6kg.
Included accessories: AC power cable, 22x Euroblock connectors.
This has all the attributes of ATDM-1012, however in addition ten digital audio inputs are available via primary/secondary Dante connection.
