Rack-mounting panels with apertures cut to match the front panel dimensions of the BCD products built in the Canford Type 85 Extruded box. They also fit many of other manufacturer’s products built in this enclosure.
Four and two way versions are offered as well as blanking-plates. The front bezel of the box is removed, the box offered up to the rear of the panel and reattached, with the supplied replacement fixing screws going through the panel to hold all together. The bezel is no longer used.

Application note:
Given that anodised aluminium is not naturally a good conductor of electricity, the attachment of an anodised box to an anodised panel may not provide sufficiently adequate earth bonding which may be required for safety reasons. The installer should satisfy himself that the resulting assembly is electrically safe and satisfies all relevant regulations in the region of use. If in any doubt whatsoever, an appropriately qualified authority should be consulted.
