The PDA103L, PDA103R, and PDA103S are audio frequency induction loop systems (AFILS) designed for small rooms when the area is up to 50 square metres.
Each amplifier has has an 3.5mm jack socket for the unbalanced, -60dBV microphone input for use with the supplied AMT tie clip/desktop microphone. A stereo 3.5mm jack socket, provides a -27dBV unbalanced input for connecting an external audio source at 'line level' and a balanced 4-way connection block offers an input at -10dBu for linking with up to ten outreach audio plates.
The IP40 rated amplifiers may be wall-mounted Rotary controls for the input channels are located on the front panel along with a level control to adjust the strength of the magnetic field generated and a metal compensation control to help combat any frequency response issues normally caused when excessive metal absorbs the magnetic field. There are four LEDs which are useful indicators of the system's performance. The first is a red LED that illuminates when the 10dB auto gain control (AGC) circuitry is performing correctly at its preset 20:1 ratio. The second red LED illuminates when any of the input channels reach the peak input level. The third red LED illuminates to signify any loop faults such as an unintentional connection to an input ground. The final LED is green and is lit when the amplifier is receiving power.

PDA103L - With tie-clip/desktop microphone
This AFILS package has been designed to suit rooms up to 50m sq. such as meeting rooms, council chambers, or doctor surgeries where the included AMT tip clip/desktop microphone can be used by the speaker.
The system includes 1x PDA103 amplifier, PL1/PSU1 power supply, AMT tie clip/desktop microphone, 40m of 0.5mm sq. induction loop cable and the accessory pack as decribed above.
PDA103R - With Outreach plated microphone
This system has is suited to rooms 7m x7m or up to 50m sq. such as meeting rooms or council chambers where the equipment needs to be located above a suspended ceiling.
PDA103R includes 1x PDA103 amplifier, PL1/PSU1 power supply, APM outreach plated microphone with 6m cable, 40m of 0.5mm sq. induction loop cable and the accessory pack as decribed above.
PDA103S - With dual line-level Outreach plate
The PDA103S loop system has been manufactured to suit bedrooms, living rooms, or TV lounges where the space is up to 50m sq. The user can chose to use the included SCART cable to connect to the amplifier via the supplied outreach plate, or directly to the Toslink (EIAJ optical.input) of the amplifier from compatible media devices.
