F/UTP Foil screened twisted pair
Computer industry 100 ohm standard design, suitable for both AES/EBU digital audio and computer LAN traffic up to 1 Gbit/s. Four unscreened twisted pairs laid up together with a drain wire and an overall foil screen.
Stranded conductor 'Category' cables are also known as 'patch' cables.
