MuxLab 500769-RM digital signage media player is a hardware device capable of receiving multiple H.264/H.265 AV source material simultaneously from a local network over Cat5e/6 cable. When playing media from a networked source, 500769-RM is able to extend up to 100m from the Ethernet switch and be powered via PoE. Media can also be played from the internet, internal memory or removable USB media storage devices.
Having low network bandwidth requirements of 32Mbps, 500769-RM is able to support streaming audio and video over a local network or via the internet for installations where the content is being driven globally. Supporting multi-view layouts and upscaling, this unit also allows the extraction of digital audio via S/PDIF (TOSlink) and 2-channel analogue audio vie a 3.5mm jack connection. RS232 and infrared remote is supported for external control, whilst the unit can also be managed via a web interface using DigiSign software on a PC, tablet, or smartphone.
The front facing panel features a blue LED to signify power on, and a yellow LED to signify link status. A recessed reset button is joined by a single USB connector for local AV content storage via external USB drive, and a TOSlink optical connector for digital audio extraction. The rear facing panel of the unit features a RS232 DB9 connector for controlling end devices, a 3.5mm connector for directional infrared remote control, 1x HDMI output connector, 1x RJ45S for Ethernet connection, and 1x 3.5mm jack output connector for analogue audio extraction. A 5VDC, 2.1mm locking power connector is available for use with the optional power supply.

500789-V2 LAN Streaming, 4K/60
Muxlab 500789-V2 digital signage player has been designed for commercial use in retail, travel, and corporate locations. It enables the user to stream multiple H.264 or H.265 AV sources simultaneously from a local network (LAN) using scheduling for autonomous use. Resolutions up to 4K/60Hz can be processed using low bandwidth of 25Mbps typical, and both HDMI and HDCP standards along with multicast and HLS protocols are also supported. Designed to be situated up to 300m from the connected Ethernet switch, 500789 can be managed via DigiSign Plus CMS content management system running on PC. When running with a compatible computer, the user can setup and run video, audio, and images, along with HTML5, RSS feeds and widgets.
The front panel of the signage player features red power on/off button, 3.5mm jack socket for audio extraction, and two USB 3.0 connections. The rear of the unit houses a further two USB 3.0 connections, two HDMI outputs, an RJ45 Ethernet socket, and a 2.1mm DC power supply input connection for included 12VDC, 2A power adapter.
