A range of industrial plugs, connectors, socket outlets and appliance inlets designed to meet BS EN 60309 -1:1999, BS EN 60309 -2:1999 and splash-proof to IP44. Connector bodies are resilient polyamide, contact pins and sleeves are brass. Connectors are rated 200-250V AC, 16 amp, 2-pole plus earth or 32 amp, 2-pole plus earth.
Cable connectors have a flexible cable entry which accepts cable diameters 7-13mm (16A), 11-24mm (32A). Panel mount connectors are straight entry, surface mount connectors are angled entry.
As standard, connectors have blue bodies, with grey cable strain relief bushes or fixing flanges as appropriate. 42-421 and 42-422 have black bodies and cable outlets, with blue contact parts, designed specifically for TV and film use. 42-431 and 42-432 have clear bodies (to enable visual inspection of cable terminations), blue contact parts and grey cable strain relief bushes.
