Free-standing units incorporating Sifam "Fast Response" FR39WF "Peak Programme" type meters with the classic 1-7 scale markings.
This range of boxed PPMs utilises mild steel enclosures inside the wood outer casings to provide effective screening when used in proximity to colour monitors or VDUs. Care should still be exercised however when used in extremely close proximity to colour screens as some stray magnetic field may be present around the visible meter glass aperture.
Overload LEDs indicate the presence of signals which exceed a preset threshold (factory set at +8dBu). To allow the meters to be used in-line, input connectors have corresponding loop-out connectors wired in parallel. Illumination is provided by integrated LED arrays.
