The RGB LED Racklight mounts in an equipment rack and provides a high-brightness light source to illuminate the controls of equipment mounted in the rack below it. Designed to keep the spillage of light to a minimum, the Racklight is highly useful not only back-stage and in equipment rooms, but also, in some positions, within a venue.
The 1U high chassis mounts in the rack; the LED light-source is mounted inside an extruded cover fixed to the front of the chassis to provide even downward illumination. The rack light can be quickly changed from white to one of six preset colours (Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue and Magenta) with the front mounted rocker switch. The colour is pre-selected using a RGB dip switch on the rear of the unit. Included on the front panel is a USB socket allowing the charging of a mobile phone or similar device.
Power is provided via a 12v 2A 3pin UK plug-in Power Supply. Connection is via a 2.1mm locking DC connector to ensure a solid connection when used within mobile racks.
