EV have utilised an ‘innovative capsule shock-mount system’ which uses four points of suspension combined with a ‘tuned pneumatic pump’ to offer a reduction in handling and mechanical noise. The humbucking coil attenuates AC hum and electromagnetic interference giving users more confidence when using in the vicinity of speakers or EMF (electromotive force) generating equipment.

ND96 has been designed with large diaphragm, supercardioid capsule for live vocal use.
