Shure MVX2U is a XLR to USB-C digital audio interface with all-metal design, that allows the user to connect a microphone to a recording device for audio backup or streaming. Compatible with dynamic microphones and condenser microphones requiring 48v phantom powering, the interface provides up to 60dB of gain. Alternatively, MVX2U can be used inline with a microphone cable. The interface has a single USB-C output along with 3.5mm headphone jack connection for ‘zero-latency’ monitoring.
Configurable onboard digital signal processing (DSP) allows the user to control gain, limiting, compression, and EQ via the ShurePlus MOTIV desktop app. MVX2U is compatible with both Mac (OS 10.15 to 13, 64-bit), and Windows (Windows 10, 64-bit) based devices.
An auto level mode allows the user to set the distance from the microphone and automatically adjust the gain level to aid a more consistent output. Dark, neutral, and bright sound signature vocal tone presets can be selected, or manual mode allows the user more defined control. A tricolour LED gives indication of ready mode (green), error sensed (amber), and muted (red).
