Hybrid opticalCON / powerCON assemblies offering up to 8 fibre channels plus 240VAC, 16A power supply in a single cable. To achieve maximum flexibility, multiple small-diameter power conductors and an outer earth braided shield are used; each has a total cross section of 1.5mm sq. The power cable plus one or two opticalCON ADVANCED Duo or Quad terminated 1m tails form a double or triple split from the extra rugged hybrid cable.
Available in multimode (P8M), singlemode (P8S) or APC (P8SA) versions. Multimode types are 50/125-OM3, single mode types are 9/125-G657A, all are constructed using bend optimised fibre. The connectors are colour coded for channel identification.
All fibre assemblies are supplied in special opticalCON cases, on an appropriate sized heavy duty cable drum with cable tail support flange arms and 'docking' panel connectors, or connector latches, or on an air spool, depending on length.
Assemblies may be factory fitted with custom labels protected by heat-shrink sleeving to identify channels, fibre type, company name etc.
