Glensound Dante or Ravenna network audio controllers have been designed to simplify your audio workflow - allowing the engineer to adjust the signal path level of a number of digital audio channels and monitor the mix via headphones.
NSA16 - 16-channel
NSA16 is a 16-channel network audio controller has been designed for critical applications and features eight stereo or mono channel groups. With a feature set including volume control, mute functionality, signal presence indication for each pair, and dedicated headphone output, the engineer is able to monitor and control any digital audio sources before output. NSA16 offers redundant network and power connections to ensure uninterrupted audio flow. In addition a panel lock feature prevents accidental adjustments, providing peace of mind during live events or installations.
The front facing panel houses individual channel mute switches with associated status LEDs, rotary controllers for channel volume, independent mix active buttons with associated LEDs, channel audio presence LEDs, and a bank of 16x2 LEDs allow visual metering of the stereo mix. The stereo audio is sent to the Dante and the headphone outputs - which can be a post-fader or pre-fader mix depending on the active and mute buttons states. The meter has two scales: dBu and (PPM). When no active buttons are active, the metering is disabled.
The mute switches apply to the audio of the two channels that it controls, with toggling on or off, or momentary behaviour when pushed and held. The mix active button makes the pot become active and effect the volume of the two channels Dante output level. When active the audio is also sent to the headphone output and stereo mix metering LEDs. If this button is pushed and held down, the button LED flashes and the audio sent to the headphone output changes from post-fader to pre-fader. This is also reflected on the stereo mix metering LEDs. It does not effect the Dante output audio.
A LED in the centre panel of the unit indicates that the unit is powered on. The unit can be powered via 100-240V AC mains input, external 12V DC power supply, PoE on primary network connection, or PoE on secondary network connection. LEDs on the rear facing panel indicate which power sources are currently active.
Stereo 6.35mm and stereo 3.5mm headphone jack sockets are positioned on the front facing edge of the unit. The audio sent to the headphones can be a post-fader or pre-fader mix of audio depending on the Active and Mute buttons states. A volume controller, which can be retracted to be flush with the panel, adjusts the overall level of the headphones. The pot is downstream of all digital mixing controls, so it effects the final volume level of the headphone output only.
With the exception of headphone output sockets on the front facing edge of the unit, all connectivity is on the rear facing panel. This includes mains IEC input, DC power input, primary and secondary SPF interface connections, primary and secondary Dante audio connections on Neutrik EtherCon, and USB C connector for firmware updates.
