This range of plastic, surface-mounting back boxes from TUK is suitable for a wide range of applications. Manufactured from ABS, they are much less brittle than traditional electrical back boxes and so less prone to damage during installation. Colour is slightly off-white, to provide the best match against faceplates from a variety of manufacturers. External corners are lightly radiused. All types feature a selection of mounting holes for ease of installation. There are cable entry knockouts on all sides as well as the base, for maximum flexibility.
Single-gang types are designed for use with face plates 86mm x 86mm, and are available in three depths (usable depth is 3mm less than the overall box depth).
Double-gang types are designed for use with face plates 146mm x 86mm, and are available in two depths (usable depth is 3mm less than the overall box depth).
