A range of faceplates and snap-in ‘keystone’ modules providing Cat5E, Cat6 and Cat6A RJ45 outlets.
Connector modules are 50mm x 25mm. Blank modules are 50mm x 25mm or 50mm x 12.5mm, the latter enabling a single module to be located centrally in a faceplate. Faceplates are available in 1-gang and 2-gang sizes, with 50mm x 50mm and 50mm x 100mm apertures respectively. They have lightly radiused square corners, are available in both flat and bevelled profiles, and are supplied complete with mounting screws. All components in the series are white.
Cat5E and Cat6 modules have a Krone-style IDC termination, colour coded to both T568A and T568B, plus cable tie loop, removable outlet identification strip and shutter.
Cat6A connectors are a shielded ‘keystone’ profile, which are paired with a mounting plate according to requirements (order separately as required). Connectors have a tool-free IDC termination system and accept 22-26AWG solid conductor FTP shielded cable. The cable is laid into the termination cap, which is colour coded for both T568A and T568B, excess wire is trimmed and the tails are pressed into the jack. Closing the metal shielded sides completes the core and foil screen termination. The jacks can then be fitted into the flat or angled, shuttered ‘keystone’ connector mounting plates. Angled plates are recommended to assist with adherence to cable bend-radius requirements and prevent patchcord snagging. The mounting plates will also accept 'keystone' profile connectors from many other manufacturers.
