CANFORD CAT5E-F-J CAT 5E DATA CABLE Stranded conductor, screened - Multi-circuit, flexible and heavy duty grades

Multi-circuit deployable Cat5E cables, for both studio and touring/OB applications, based on Canford's CAT5E-F screened flexible cable.

'Heavy Duty' Grade Cable

The heavy duty version (formerly called 'touring') uses the standard CAT5E-F 6.2mm diameter flexible cable, with colour coded and numbered individual jackets. The overall jacket has a tough layer of PUR (polyurethane) for abrasion resistance. Canford uses PUR on many cable designs to provide excellent wearing characteristics in the harsher environment of outside broadcast and touring applications

'Flexible' Grade Cables

The flexible version (formerly called 'studio') has a design optimised to give the best possible flexibility, and uses the CAT5E-F-M 5.8mm diameter cable, with colour coded and numbered individual jackets. The overall jacket is soft PVC for optimum flexibility. This design is also widely used for connections to video wall displays, where multiple feeds need to be run to the screens.

It is suitable for use with both standard RJ45 connectors (round entry version), the Neutrik Ethercon and most other ruggedised RJ45 designs, or any other connector with a suitably sized entry gland.

If you have a requirement for a pre-assembled product, a range of robust stage boxes, patch boxes and suitably terminated super-flexible, rugged, multicore cables is also available using these cables; for further details see CANFORD CATKIT ETHERCON STAGEBOX SYSTEM.
