The polar pattern of the cartridge is indicated by the model number suffix:
C = Cardioid, S = Supercardioid, O= Omnidirectional
MX391: Includes an attached 4 meter (12 ft) cable terminated with a 4-pin mini connector and a separate preamplifier. A rubber strain relief is provided for applications where you want to remove the 4-pin mini connector and connect the microphone cable directly to screw terminals in the preamplifier.
MX392: Surface-mount microphone; includes a programmable membrane on/off switch, logic input/output terminals, an on/off indicator LED, screw terminal connections, and attached unterminated cable.
- MX392/C -- Cardioid, Black
- MX392/S -- Supercardioid, Black
- MX392/O -- Omnidirectional, Black
MX393: Surface-mount microphone; includes a programmable membrane on/off switch, an on/off indicator LED, and a miniature, three pin connector.
