AKG DAM (Discreet Acoustics Modular system), and DAM+ families offer back electret capsule modules and compatible 'installation' modules – a mix of goosenecks and hanging modules. Designed for sound and speech reinforcement, these microphones offer a wide range of applications. The small size of the components and matt dark grey finish permits a very discreet appearance. DAM+ series have a smaller diameter and are therefore more suited to positions where discretion is of more importance.
All 'installation' modules have a phantom power status LED that indicates correct connection; those for fixed wiring also allow this to indicate microphone on/off. DAM series phantom power adapters accept 9-52V phantom power and have an integrated 250Hz bass roll-off filter.
Available in lengths of 160mm (GN15), 305mm (GN30), and 500mm (GN50), these goosenecks are designed for permanent installation and have external DPA in-line XLR phantom power adapters. 3-pin XLR termination. GN15 has a single flexible gooseneck section, whilst GN30 and GN50 each have two flexible sections either side of a fixed straight section.
GN series goosenecks with a suffix of ‘E’ are designed for temporary installation and feature an integrated phantom power module adapter. PS 3 F-Lock panel mounts sockets aid fixing. Available in lengths of 235mm (GN15 E), 380mm (GN30 E), and 572mm (GN50 E).
GN30 OC
GN30 OC is 305mm in length and has all the properties of GN30 however it is unterminated and designed for permanent installation. This gooseneck has no phantom power supply and uses 1.5-10V A-B powering.
Part of the DAM+ series, these goosenecks are available in lengths of 165mm (GN15 M), 300mm (GN30 M), and 500mm (GN50 M). The goosenecks require either PAE M, PAE5 M, or PAESP M phantom power module, and offer a light expander to improve the visibility of the LED ring. This use of the expander is optional.

An integrated switch can be programmed to control push to talk, push to mute, push on/off, and low cut on/off; with the status of the control signified on the LED of the attached gooseneck. Output is by way of 3-pin XLR. Powered via 9-52V phantom power.

PAE M – 3-pin XLR, bass roll off
This phantom power module can be used for either fixed or temporary installation. It accepts 9-52V phantom power and has switchable bass roll-off at 250Hz – effective in the process of body noise reduction and proximity effect.

PAE5 M – 5-pin XLR, bass roll off
This phantom power module has the same properties as PAE M, however it is terminated with 5-pin XLR – allowing the audio and control voltage signals for LED to be fed separately. Pins 1, 3, and 5 are audio ground, audio in phase, and audio return respectively; and pins 2 and 4 are for the LED ring.

This phantom power module includes a BCD (binary coded decimal) switch that allows the user to recall an operating mode and then adjust. Programmable modes include bass roll-off, LED ring mode, and microphone switch mode. Powered via 9-52V phantom power.

CK31 is a pre-polarized condenser microphone capsule designed for sound reinforcement and recording. CK33 - Hyper-cardioid
CK33 is designed for sound reinforcement and recording and with a pickup angle of 95 degrees the capsule is, apparently, 'a good choice in situations when noise comes from the sides or people talk into the microphone from greater distances'. CK41 – Wide-cardioid
CK41 is compatible with DAM+ series goosenecks and offers a wide cardioid polar pattern.
