The dmXLAN showStoreGBx is an advanced DMX controller with the ability to record and play back DMX data in applications such as automating large stand-alone shows with moving light effects, such as retail displays and exhibition displays.
Fully programmable and compatible with ELC dmXLAN software, it can record lighting data, from a maximum of 99 separate shows, either from the Ethernet lighting network or a DMX input and subsequently replay this data via either Ethernet or a DMX output. Data for lighting changes, fades and effects distributed on up to 4 DMX universes (2048 channels) can be recorded in real-time for a maximum of 24 hours and reproduced accurately later.It can operate as a stand-alone DMX control system, replacing a normal DMX lighting desk.
Recordings can be backed up or exchanged (PC and Mac compatible). Comprehensive external triggering uses single or combined elements including contact closures, DMX, LTC time code, RS232, real time clock (with 12-month calendar), TCP/Telnet commands, ASCII commands. The internal web server supports FTP. Advance programming of softpatch, universe backup and triple universe merging is accomplished with ELC dmXLAN PC / MAC editor software.
On the front is a TFT multicolor display and rotary encoder/pushbutton for setup menu selection. On the rear there are two Ethercon RJ45 connectors connecting to the 1Gb/s internal Ethernet switch, four 5-pin female XLR connectors to the internal full isolated four-port DMX/Ethernet node, two 9-pin D-sub connectors for RS-232 and GPI, a USB socket and a 3-pin female XLRconnector for LTC time code. Two Powercon True1 connectors provide power input and loop out. A mating input connector is included.
