A series of amplifiers that provided audio output to such as small-sized shops to large-sized spaces like office buildings and schools where decentralized control is necessary. DPA amplifiers differ in output power and channel count with a suffix of 'S' denoting single channel, 'D' denoting dual channel, 'T' denoting triple channel, and 'Q' denoting quad channel. The number; 300, 600, 1200 etc denotes the rated output power per channel.
DPA amplifiers are designed with an AC/DC dual power supply that allows DC 24V supply through the battery even if AC power fails due to power outage. Since the DC power supply is an emergency power supply, it operates regardless of whether the power switch is 'on' or 'off'. When AC power is restored during DC power operation, the amplifier automatically switches back to AC. Using a priority function, alarm broadcasts can be configured to be output automatically in an emergency. When a contact is input to the priority terminal on the rear, the signal input is output before the PGM input. Using the AC remote terminal on the rear facing panel of the amplifier, a user can switch the power on/off from a remote location.
Monitoring on the front facing panels include signal, -10dB output level, clip, and protect LEDs. AC/DC power supply and standby status are illustrated by LEDs positioned above the main power on/off switch, which is also illuminated when on. In addition independent volume can be adjusted for each channel via rotary control.
All amplifiers in this series are compatible with 70V, 100V or 8ohm low impedance systems.
