BBI-BWB-BK - Long-haired

Designed to fit a wide range of handheld microphones, the Big Windbubble slides over the microphone capsule and is retained by way of elastic mount at the bottom of the windshield. A black imitation fur covers a smooth mesh lining designed for easy installation; whilst allowing a frequency response with ‘very small influence’ to the microphone capsule, even in heavy wind conditions.

BBI-BWB-BKS - Short-haired

This has the same construction as the BBI-BWB-BK Big Windbubble however the imitation fur is shorter and therefore has been designed for use in ‘normal’ wind conditions.

WINDKILLER

This range of windshields have been specifically designed to fit a range of boom or camera mounted shotgun microphones in a variety of conditions. Both the long-haired, for medium to heavy wind conditions, and the short-haired versions, for mild to medium wind conditions feature a coarse foam inner with a fitted imitation fur outer which can be dried and shaken to restore softness after wet. The Windkiller has a rubber mount at the base of the windshield that snuggly fits the microphone shaft to keep the filter in place. Both long-haired and short-haired options with the ‘Standard Mount’ rubber base fit microphones with a diameter of 18-24mm, while extra-small and extra-large options are also available with the ‘Big Mount’ rubber base which fits microphones with a diameter of 23-26mm.

SPACER BUBBLE

Available in seven different sizes, the Spacer Bubble has been designed to give protection from wind noise indoors or outdoors in light or low wind conditions. The windshield has a base material made from coarse foam and mesh which is attached to a rubber base. For medium wind conditions an optional ‘slip-on’ short-haired fur can quickly be attached. Standard colour is black.

Spacer Bubble is also available in red (PMS 2045), chroma blue (PMS 2828c), and chroma green (PMS 354c) - the latter particularly useful for those using the microphones against blue/green screen backgrounds or environments often popular in TV and movie production.

SHORT-HAIRED SPACER COVER

Designed to be added to the Space Bubble this long-haired windshield cover quickly allows protection against medium wind conditions whilst retaining ‘optimal frequency transparency’. Available in five sizes and four colours to fit the seven available Spacer Bubbles.
