Attractive robust boxes based on box section extrusions manufactured to Canford design. Intended for clients to create custom connector combinations in an attractive finished product.
These boxes have a two part, interlocking construction to allow easy access to the interior during assembly. Internal channels are provided to hold PCB’s in place. Boxes are finished black anodised. On all boxes, with the exception of type 26, a special bezel, made in ABS, completely covers the edge of the endplate, giving good protection to the box in use, taking most knocks if dropped.
Available in four sizes and six lengths, all boxes, with the exception of the type 26 come supplied with black anodised, blank alloy endplates, blank end labels, ABS bezels and fixing screws. The type 26 version has been specifically designed to be used in conjunction with most D-Series connector combinations or the D-series cable gland to create connector converter boxes or an end of cable termination box. Also available are two designs of mounting brackets. Clamp style brackets are designed to hold any products built in the standard Canford type 56, 85 and 100 extruded aluminium boxes. They also fit the older 106mm wide Canford Eurocard extrusion. These brackets have two countersunk mounting holes, 4.5 mm diameter. Mounting screws are not included.
The type 26 mounting brackets are designed to hold the type 26UDS and 26UDL under desk models. Two versions are available one to hold a single box and one to hold two boxes side by side. Type 26UDS and 26UDL boxes have a tapped M3 hole in the top of the box and are secured to the clamp via a countersunk M3 mounting hole (M3 securing screws supplied with each under desk box). These brackets have four mounting holes, 4.5 mm diameter. Mounting screws are not included.
