Cable according to British Telecom specifications CW1700 ("OSCA" voice and data cable - ISDN).
Has twisted pairs of 1/0.5mm tinned copper cores, PVC insulated and is colour coded to BT CW1308 Cable Colour Codes. A thicker core insulation compared to CW1308, gives lower pair capacitance values (less than 80pF/m) and different twinning lengths and pair lay-up give better crosstalk performance.
Suitable for termination in standard Krone IDC blocks.
