AMPETRONIC LOOP RECEIVER

The Ampetronic induction loop receiver is a small, very efficient, high quality receiver for use with induction loop systems. This receiver can be used in locations where a hearing aid is not worn, but where amplified sound is needed by the listener.


ILR3 Loop Receiver

Additionally, the unit can be used by anyone with normal hearing who requires to listen to the signal from an induction loop. Typical applications are induction loop performance monitoring, visitor guidance, confidential instructions to a person needing freedom of movement, and when used with ear defender type headphones (not supplied) listening in noisy environments. It is designed to operate with magnetic field strengths to BS6083-4, IEC118-4.

A rotary volume control is provided. The receiver is supplied with lightweight stereo headphones but any stereo headphones with a 3.5mm plug and impedance greater than 15 ohms per earpiece can be used. The receiver is switched on by plugging headphones into the unit. A lamp shows when the unit is active, but will not illuminate when the batteries are exhausted. A switch allows flat frequency response, or bass cut, similar to hearing aids. Note: For other induction loop test equipment, see Induction loop test equipment.

Frequency response: 85-10000Hz, +/-1.5dB. Output power: 100mW, 16 ohms, approximately. Power source: Two AA type batteries, preferably alkaline. Dimensions: 62 x 26 x 112 (w x d x l) mm. Weight: 90g, not including batteries and headphones.

ILR3+ Loop Receiver, LED status lights

The same as the standard ILR3 Loop receiver, but with the addition of 2 LED indicators to show if signal strength is within the correct range as defined by IEC60118-4:2006.
