This range of data cable drums come with plastic, rubber and metal cable drums. The plastic range are robust and lightweight, with plastic drums and frames of moulded high-strength plastic. The rubber range are extremely durable, made from synthetic rubber, with moulded high-strength plastic frames. Finally the metal range all have steel drums, with steel tube frames. All types have a fixed winding-handle on the drum flange plus a friction drum-brake incorporated into the frame to prevent movement in transit.
Most models consist of cable drums with connector combinations on the flange of the drum. However the rubber range have cable connectors on both ends, the cable tail to be brought out from the hub of the drum at a gentle angle and coiled and secured around the brackets. Other connector combinations, other cable colours and lengths can be supplied to special order.
