Audio-Technica AT2020USB-X is the successor to the popular AT2020USB+ microphone, and has also been designed for use by gamers, podcasters, recording musicians, and streamers. The directional, cardioid condenser microphone offers a 'smooth' frequency response from 20Hz to 20kHz, which is combined with a high-resolution AD convertor with 24-Bit/96 kHz sampling rate to create an 'extremely clear and natural' sound output. The USB microphone is USB bus powered via the USB-C connector, the same connector that allows digital audio connection to a computer. A built-in stereo 3.5mm headphone jack socket allows direct monitoring while a level mix control wheel allows the user to equalise between microphone and computer playback audio.
