Scarlett Solo 4th Gen 2-in, 2-out

Scarlett Solo is a desktop audio interface that has been designed to make recording 'easier than ever'. The low-noise microphone preamp, A/D and D/A converters, and a dynamic range of 120dB give a quality that is often found in professional studios.

The audio interface features a single microphone input with switchable phantom power, and a single line level input, with the latter being switchable from line level to Hi-Z. Each of the inputs has a dedicated rotary gain controller with surrounding multicolour ring light, also known as Scarlett's Dynamic Gain Halo, to signify input level. Presence can be added globally to the input channels via an 'Air' button. Output is by way of dual, balanced 6.35mm jack connectors, and a 6.35mm stereo headphone jack output has dedicated level control. Computer connection is via USB-C. A large output volume controller allows adjustment of outputs L and R. A push switch labelled 'Direct' allows the user to toggle direct monitoring on/off. Power is by way of USB bus power.

Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen 2-in, 2-out

Scarlett 2i2 is a desktop audio interface that has the same functionality as Scarlett Solo 4th Gen, however each of the two inputs can be selected as microphone level, line level, or Hi-Z level - with the 2x 3-pin XLR inputs located on the rear facing panel, and the 2x 6.25mm jack connections on the front facing panel.
In addition, Scarlett 2i2 has push buttons for 'auto' and 'safe', with 'auto' allowing automatic gain setup, and 'safe' to prevent clipping on the selected input. This audio interface can be bus powered via USB, or via optional 5V power supply.

Scarlett 4i4 4th Gen 4-in, 4-out

This has the same functionality as Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen with the addition of MIDI connectivity and increased inputs and outputs. Scarlett 4i4 4th Gen features 2x XLR/Jack combo inputs on the front facing panel, with an additional 2x inputs by way of balanced/unbalanced 6.35mm jack connectors. The line inputs on the rear facing panel are of fixed level, whereas the input on the front facing panel are adjustable with the corresponding controllers. Scarlett 16i16 features 16 inputs and 16 outputs, including two mic preamps, Hi-Z instrument and line inputs, ADAT, SPDIF, and MIDI.  The interface features 2x XLR/Jack combo inputs on the front facing panel, with an additional 4x inputs by way of balanced/unbalanced 6.35mm jack connectors positioned on the rear facing panel. Scarlett 18i20 4th Gen 18-in, 20-out

Scarlett 18i20 is a features 18 inputs and 20 outputs, including eight mic preamps, Hi-Z and line inputs, ADAT, SPDIF, MIDI, and Word Clock. 18i20 has a built-in talkback microphone, A/B speaker switching for referencing on different monitors, and eight channels of LED bar metering which can be assigned to inputs or outputs, along with master output metering.

The rear facing panel houses a single IEC mains input connection, SPDIF in and out by way of RCA (phono) connections, BNC word clock output, MIDI in and outputs, dual Optical I/O via TosLink connections, along with analogue audio inputs and outputs. The outputs are numbered 1 and 2 (main), 3 and 4 (alternative), and 5 - 8 (outputs). The inputs are by way of 3-pin XLR/Jack combi connectors for microphone/line level input. An additional two inputs (Hi-Z/microphone) are positioned on the front facing panel for easy access once the unit is positioned on a desk or in a rack.
