This range of audio cable drums come with both plastic and metal cable drums. The plastic range are robust and lightweight, with plastic drums and frames of moulded high-strength plastic. Whilst the metal range all have steel drums, with steel tube frames. Both types have a fixed winding-handle on the drum flange plus a friction drum-brake incorporated into the frame to prevent movement in transit.

Some models consist of cable drums with connector combinations on the flange of the drum, whilst others have cable connector tails on both ends of the cable. Details outlining configurations can be found in the tables below.

The Neutrik XLR ‘Convertcon’ offers both male and female contacts in a single cable housing (note that this mates but does not latch with the older Neutrik DL series panel connectors).
