These ES262T Series rack cabinets are a competitively priced range of floor-standing, 19 inch, steel-framed racks. Available in two widths, four depths, a range of heights and in a choice of grey or black finish, they are supplied fully assembled, with removable front and rear doors and side panels.
The racks are available in four depths, 600mm, 800mm, 1000mm or 1200mm. Each rack has four pillars forming the frame of the rack, fixed to top and base frames. Horizontal cross-members fix to the pillars, front to back. Front and rear 'rack strip' mounting-profiles fix to the cross-members, and are adjustable through the depth of the cabinet, to suit installation of rack slides and deep or shallow equipment. The mounting-profiles have two sets of perforations to take cage nuts, to fix equipment both in the open faces of the rack and accessories, such as shelves and chassis guides, inside the rack. They have three apertures for cage nuts per 1U on each face and are screen-printed with 'U' height measurements to aid installation.
All doors fit flush, within the rack frame. The front 'picture-frame' doors have toughened, safety-glass inserts and swing lock. This has a door handle which sinks into the door when locked, nearly flush with the front. The rear doors are plain steel, with a cylinder lock. Both have quick-release hinges to improve access in confined spaces. The two steel side-panels fit to the bottom of the rack and have spring-loaded catches and a cylinder lock at the top.
Top covers and bases have air vents. The top has a removable rectangular panel towards the rear and circular knock-outs for cable entry. Base plates are included; all or part can be removed for cable entry. Racks are supplied with a fitted earth-continuity kit and standard-duty 'transit' castors, 450kg maximum load per set of four.
The 800mm wide cabinets offer considerable space at either side of the mounting profiles, which are mounted on spacer-blocks to the horizontal cross-members. Optional, vertical, cable-management frames, with side and rear cable apertures, plastic rings and cover, can be front-mounted to the spacer blocks, see below.
