PAG PAGLIGHT SYSTEM COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES

PAG rechargeable battery and lighting products are used on a wide range of portable equipment in the professional broadcast, film and video Industries. The Paglight is the original PAG ENG/EFP lighting unit.

Paglight has a revolutionary patented design which allows a range of professional lighting technologies to be used with one lamp head. Interchangeable LED or tungsten halogen lighting modules plug into the back of the reflector housing. They can be hot-swapped quickly and safely, in a matter of seconds. Paglight is the only broadcast camera light with the plug-in feature, providing you with the correct lighting technology for any professional situation.

Paglight "Power Bases" are low-profile, pre-wired, hot-shoe bases, which enable the Paglight to be easily and quickly mounted or removed from the camera. A basic Paglight thus consists of a lamp body, a lampholder, a lamp, and a Powerbase.

With its versatile, modular construction, each individual part of the PAGlight System is available separately, to satisfy the customer's developing operational and maintenance needs. We list the most commonly requested items, the whole PAG range is available to special order.

PAG 9997D

Discontinued

This is a plug-in base with 11W LED lamp and integral dimmer to fit a standard Paglight, as an alternative to the halogen or HMI lampholders, which may be interchanged in the field without risk of damage to the unit, or injury to the user. The LED unit has an output of 850 lux at 2m; power consumption is a mere 11W.

The intensity of light over distance has been achieved by focusing the output of the emitters using an integrated bullseye lens, and suspending this system within the parabolic reflector of the Paglight. The output can be controlled to produce a steady and clean transition from spot to flood. The dimming facility provides precise control of light intensity. The spot and flood feature of the Paglight reflector can also be used to control the light intensity; it floods out to 62 degrees from a spot angle of 22.6 degrees.

The colour temperature of the output is a 'perfect blend for daylight' and can be converted to match halogen light by using a conversion filter, incorporated in the 9959D LED Rotatable Accessory Kit. The unit is designed to dissipate heat from the finned emitter probe using heat-transfer chambers, avoiding the use of heavy aluminium heat sinks. Even after prolonged use the Paglight lamp head and the LED unit can be handled comfortably.

Included accessories: Lamp protector.
