FSM8+
The FSM8+ is a 9 channel stereo mixer with four mono inputs on 3-pin balanced XLR connectors (mic section) feeding the music path, each with rear panel gain preset, and four stereo inputs on gold plated phono plugs (music section) feeding the music path, each with rear panel gain preset. Each section has overall treble and bass equaliser controls also. An additional priority input on 3-pin balanced XLR and external mute facility on 2 pin phoenix-style socket, is provided. This allows an external source such as a juke box or live band to override other music channels and external alarms to mute the mic input. A voice-over circuit is provided, with front panel push-switch and internally adjustable threshold and attenuation. Two of the stereo channels (5 & 6) may be set as low impedance mic inputs, to allow up to 6 mic inputs, via dip switches on the rear panel, using either music or mic section equaliser via internal selection. Output is on 3-pin balanced XLR, stereo or mono (internally selectable). A dedicated bass output is available on a 3-pin phoenix-style connector.
Front panel switches allow any number of channels to be routed to an internal buss, for use as headphone monitoring or an auxilliary buss. Internal jumpers allow phantom power or mic/line switching on mono inputs, pre or post selectable channel buss for headphone or auxilliary use and the main output to be mono.
