The 32 Amp Neutrik 'Powercon' is an extremely robust and reliable, locking, single-phase, AC mains power connector. It is available in cable and panel versions for use on equipment inputs, and is similar in design to the 20 amp 'Powercon' A-type, although not inter-mateable.
The connectors have three contacts, for phase, neutral and protective earth (ground), each rated 32A, 250V. Termination on both cable and panel types is via screw-type terminals for stranded wires 2.5 to 6.0 sq.mm (AWG 14-10). Cable diameter range 8.0-20.0mm. Panel hole cutout 30.0mm diamater.
NAC3-2FC and NAC3-2MP are 32 Amp connectors with 3 protective earth conductors that provide robust and reliable earth connection via parallel path or ring configuration. These AC installation couplers were designed for power distribution systems in professional IT equipment and desk power supplies for the office environment. The system is designed according to the British Standard BS 7671 section 607 only and is therefore limited to corresponding applications. Operation is only guaranteed for related applications and has the ASTA marks licence number: 845.
Usage note: This connector is 'without breaking capacity' as defined in IEC 61984, and must not be engaged or disengaged when under load or live.
