Moulded plastic strain reliefs for use with BNC and MUSA crimp connectors. “Groups” refer to Canford Cable Groups, see Coaxial Connectors Selection Guidance entry. All types are long-bush designs, moulded in a soft compliant plastic in a variety of colours.

Due to the large diameter and rigidity of group Z cables, strain relief bushes are not required.
Note: The strain relief bushes that are designed for cable size group B (BBC PSF1/3) can often be used with the slightly smaller group Q (RG59 size) cables, but it is essential that the BNC connectors are only single crimped. If they are double crimped the bush will slide off. Due to the design variations between BNC connectors from different manufacturers, users should always make their own tests to ensure adequate retention.
