One of the properties of polyurethane when used as a cable jacket material (apart from its exceptional durability) is a high degree of “memory”. This means that coiled cables can be made which retain their original “spring” far better than PVC jacketed types (which permanently elongate substantially with heavy use). Canford has a range of polyurethane jacketed specialised pro-audio cables, which are post-formed into coil formations of different sizes and styles. For full cable technical details, see the relevant main text entry. Custom coiled cables can be produced using any of our polyurethane jacketed cables, minimum order quantity 25 pieces. All cables are supplied with tails 150mm long, or terminated with one male and one female XLR connector (Neutrik NC3MX, NC3FX).
