RJ45 to RJ45 Cat5E, Cat6 and Cat6A in-line female-female couplers. Available either fully shielded (metal body) or unshielded. An external IP67 rated Cat5e/Cat6 type is also available. An invaluable product in many situations, for example, extension of equipment, patch and interconnect cables.
IP67 External coupler
An IP67 rated, shielded coupler, intended for environments where water ingress may be an issue. Suitable for Cat5e or Cat6 cables up to a diameter of 8mm. The coupler has three main sections. The mid-section contains the RJ45 coupler, which is protected by caps that screw on each side, sealed with rubber washers. At the end of each cap is a cable-entry gland, with a rubber compression-ring. A slit in the compression-ring allows pre-terminated or field-terminated cables to be used.
