A range of D-sub connectors mounted on housings which fit the Neutrik ‘D’ series cut-out. Suitable for use with connector plates, stageboxes or any application where a Neutrik ‘D’ series cut-out is available. For use with Canford Universal Connection Panels please refer to application note below.
All configurations of D-sub 9 pin and HDD-sub 15 pin are available, in nickel finish shells. Black shells are available to special order, subject to minimum order quantities. In the ‘male-female’ types, the connector element is reversible.
Application note
Note that these connectors have a flange that must be front mounted. Maximum panel thickness to be no more than 10 gauge, (3.2mm). As these panel connectors are slightly larger than a standard D series connector, (connector body behind the panel), they would be unsuitable for mounting in a 1U Universal connection panel and also in the bottom rows of Universal connection panels with 2U or more. Mating cable mounted D-Sub connectors listed by Canford, see D-SUB CONNECTORS, are suitable for use with these panel connectors. Other third party D-sub cable connectors should have minimal protrusion of the hood or moulded cover over its front face to ensure a good and reliable connection.
