IDX portable power systems primarily use Lithium Ion battery technology with the V-Mount attachment and NP standards, originally introduced on professional camcorder equipment by Sony. Adapters are available for use of alternative standards from Anton Bauer, PAG and Sony.
In addition to the proprietary PowerLink feature, enabling two batteries to be interconnected thus doubling the power capacity, the IDX ENDURA V-mount compatible system provides Digi-View for accurate battery-capacity data in camera viewfinders and supports Syncron, IDX’s lighting control technology.
IDX Endura batteries are supported by a choice of chargers and accessories designed for a wide range of applications. IDX Endura batteries and chargers can be purchased individually or as “Power Packages”.
IDX also produce AC power supplies, providing nominal 12V DC power for cameras, recorders, monitors and associated equipment.
