The LC-CST low-cost, coaxial cable stripper has three blades that can be adjusted for depth of cut. This is done using the supplied hex key, which is housed in a recess in the tool body. Pre-set strip lengths are 8mm for outer jacket and 4mm for dielectric. Suitable for cables in groups X, Y, B, A, Q and similar sizes.
The CST-Pro stripper (with included blades cassette) works with a wide range of cable diameters, from 2.5mm - 8.0mm, and is suitable for use with most of the cables and coaxial connectors sold by Canford. It is pre-set for standard 2- and 3-level strip lengths. A dual roller mechanism centres the cable precisely and applies equal pressure to eliminate cable distortion. The orange cassette provides braid length strips 3.7mm and 8.3mm. The black cassette provides braid length strips 2.4mm and 8.7mm. Replacement blade cassettes are available.
