CANFORD LINE ISOLATING UNITS - Analogue - Free standing

Providing isolation between input and output, these are available in single or twin-channel versions. Each channel has a transformer and an 'earth-lift' switch. They are housed in a tough, black-anodised, extruded box, with ABS bezels.

The individual, isolated audio circuits each have XLR connectors for input and output, one female, one male, and an earth-lift switch located on one face. Two types are offered, for either high, 10000 ohms, or low, 600 ohms impedance circuits. The high impedance version may also be used with a low impedance source and a high-impedance, bridging, load.

High impedance models - 10 kohms : 10 kohms

Frequency response: +/- 1dB 30Hz-20kHz, 1 kHz, 10 kohms source, 10 kohms load. Better than +/- 0.5dB 60Hz-15kHz; +/- 1.0dB, 40Hz-20kHz, 1kHz, low impedance source, 10 kohms load. Distortion: Better than 0.015% / 1% , 1kHz / 30Hz, +22dBu. Insertion loss: Less than 1.0dB, 10 kohms source and load.

Low impedance models - 600 ohms : 600 ohms

Frequency response: Better than +/- 0.3dB 20Hz-20kHz, 1 kHz, 600 ohms source, 600 ohms load. Distortion: Better than 0.015%, 1kHz, +22dBu; 1%, 30Hz, +19dBu. Insertion loss: 0.7dB, 600 ohms source and load; 1.3dB, 600 ohms source and 300 ohms load.
