VOICE TECHNOLOGIES MICROPHONES - Headworn

Voice Technologies is a manufacturer of high-end miniature lavalier microphones, headworn microphones and earphones for broadcast, theatre, film, video and conference applications. Established in 1998 in Zurich, Switzerland, the company continues the long tradition of Swiss precision engineering and moulding, resulting in exceptional performance and reliability in their range of miniature and ultra-miniature devices.

The miniature lavalier and headworn electret capsule microphones can be adapted to plug into the transmitter of virtually any brand of wireless system or hard-wired system. Supply and fitting of connectors can be ordered using the codes listed.

A range of accessories and replacement consumable parts is available. An innovative approach by Voice Technologies is to offer each headworn microphone with a choice of options - in a black (large) or clear (small) plastic case (depending upon model), or as a microphone only. All options supplied with a foam windscreen. This enables established users or those on restricted budgets to purchase less options if desired.

Full technical specifications are available at www.vt-switzerland.com. Manufactured in Switzerland. Demonstration units of certain models are available on loan, please contact our sales team for details.

Polar pattern: Omnidirectional. Frequency response: 50-20000Hz. Sensitivity: -44dB +/-3dB. Max input: SPL 130dB. Impedance: 1.5kOhms. Cable length: 1.2m. Cable diameter: 2mm. Weight: 17g.

VT DUPLEX

Designed for use in film, theatre, broadcast, and live event, VT DUPLEX offers an 'almost invisible' solution to those requiring headset vocal pickup. Availability in two sizes, small/medium and large/extra-large, VT DUPLEX is designed for comfort for adult or child. An ear hook on each side of the headset adds to stability and comfort whilst the ability to wear the flexible gooseneck on either left or right side aids user preference. A connector positioned on the rear headband section of the headset allows the user to disconnect for storage or replacement. VT DUPLEX KIT includes both small/medium and large/extra-large headband. Replacement headbands are also available by way of 74-4951 or 74-4952

Polar pattern: Omnidirectional. Frequency response: 20-20000Hz. Sensitivity: -35dB +/-3dB. Max input: SPL 125dB. Impedance: 2kOhms. Cable length: 1.2m. Cable diameter: 1.3mm. Weight: 12g.

VT DUPLEX-CARDIOID

Mainly used for stage, presentation and broadcast, VT DUPLEX-CARDIOID has many of the design features of the VT DUPLEX including cable connector, headband properties, and user setup. The main difference is the Cardioid microphone element to give a more precise pickup. VT DUPLEX-CARDIOID also includes a DH Distance Holder to give the user better microphone placement.

Polar pattern: Cardioid. Frequency response: 100-6000Hz. Sensitivity: -49dB +/-3dB. Max input: SPL 113dB. Impedance: 4.4kOhms. Cable length: 1.15m. Cable diameter: 1.9mm. Weight: 15g.

VT DUPLEX-VOCAL

Designed for use on stage or in theatre, VT DUPLEX-VOCAL has many of the design features of the VT DUPLEX including cable connector, headband properties, and user setup. VT DUPLEX-VOCAL allows the use of sound pressure levels up to 136dB making it a popular choice with singers. The capsule, which has a diameter of 3mm, has 'low self-noise' and has a generous lift in frequencies upwards of 10kHz.

Polar pattern: Omnidirectional. Frequency response: 100-20000Hz. Sensitivity: -48dB +/-3dB. Max input: SPL 136dB. Impedance: 2kOhms. Cable length: 1.2m. Cable diameter: 1.9mm. Weight: 12g.

VT700

The VT700 is a lightweight headworn miniature microphone for indoor applications, designed to fit any head contour and to free performers to focus on their performance. Ideal for event production, public speaking, theatre and broadcast studio operations. The flexible gooseneck enables the user to position the microphone for optimum sound and gain before feedback and is very comfortable and unobtrusive. A perspiration drip ring on the gooseneck ensures the microphone capsule stays dry at all times. The cable runs neatly behind the neck for maximum concealment. The headband is highly resistant to corrosion and is easy to clean. The microphone exhibits an extended frequency response and an onmi-directional polar pattern for outstanding clarity and natural sound with no proximity build-up.

Polar pattern omnidirectional, frequency response 50-18000Hz, sensitivity -33dB +/-3dB, max input SPL 115dB, impedance 4400 ohms nominal. 1.5 metre cable, unterminated.

Included accessories: Strap (adjustable)

VT701MKII

The VT701 MkII is a superlight and very thin headworn microphone ideal for event production, public speaking and broadcast studio operations. The sound is clear and natural. The cable is smooth, rugged, sweat proof and has excellent isolation from rubbing noise. Designed to fit any head contour (head size changeable and adjustable and microphone for left or right side), the perfomers are free to focus on their performance. Detachable cable for easy handling.

Polar pattern omnidirectional, frequency response 20-20000Hz, sensitivity -35dB +/-3dB, max input SPL 125dB, impedance 2000 ohms nominal. 1.2 metre cable, unterminated.

VT720W

The VT720W is a hands-free microphone for sports and aerobics instructors as well as television field reporters for wireless transmission and voice amplification. It is the ultimate in light-weight and is also fully waterproof, so can be used by water sports instructors, for example, water-skiing. The condenser microphone capsule is a highly efficient noise cancelling type, which prevents feedback from loudspeakers or interference from crowd-noise, passing tidal waves etc. Replacement WS720B windscreens (74-4936) and replacement VT720W/STRAP (74-4937) are available to order.

Polar pattern bi-directional (noise cancelling), frequency response 300-5000Hz (close talking), max input SPL 120dB, impedance 2k-25k ohms nominal. 1.5 metre cable, unterminated.

VT800

The VT800 lightweight headworn microphone features a tight cardioid pattern and frequency response engineered to meet most voice applications. Much consideration has been put into the physical design of the VT800. The flexible boom arm enables the user to positions the microphone for optimum sound and gain before feedback and the cable runs neatly to the back of neck for best concealment. The headband is highly resistant to corrosion and is easy to clean.

Polar pattern cardioid, frequency response 50-18000Hz, sensitivity -53dB +/-3dB, max input SPL 120dB, impedance 1000 ohms nominal. 1.5 metre cable, unterminated.
